我们是一所位于Richmond的多元文化的教会，教会有两群会众分别进行中文、英文敬拜。中文会众的组成主要是中国大陆移民和台湾移民。

我们的中文堂正在寻找一名敬拜事工负责人从事敬拜的筹划、预备、带领工作。该工作是兼职性质，除了周日在教会的敬拜以外，可以远程工作。该工作需要与中文堂牧师以及敬拜事工同工们协调工作。目前的工作是以年度合同的方式，每年更新。

我们是一所成长的教会，并愿意帮助合适的候选人成为一名敬拜牧师。当他/她能够承担更多责任，我们愿意在未来提供更好的薪水。

该候选人需要具备对于当代敬拜的理解，能够并愿意学习并探索教会敬拜仪式的意义。可以进行教会年历和经课与当代敬拜的整合。能够理解经文、音乐、祷告等各种要素在敬拜中的作用并能创造性的设计敬拜。通过敬拜的设计以及实施，让会众有良好的敬拜体验和参与。

成功的候选人需要能够认同浸信会的理念，接受Broadmoor浸信会以及加西浸信会的信仰宣言。

主要责任和能力要求:

• 与中文牧师以及团队其他成员合作，筹划并预备周日敬拜。
• 能够带领同工们实现周日敬拜。
• 具备司琴伴奏能力，能使用至少一种乐器进行当代伴奏。
• 招募、训练、辅导团队成员。与他们建立团体以及个人的关系，实现敬拜团队的成长。
• 安排并规划教会的敬拜服侍人员的排班。综合考虑教会各项事工的需求来安排合适的服侍人员。
• 认同并理解当代的敬拜音乐和形式，愿意不断地学习并为教会引入新的音乐和敬拜要素。
• 与中文牧师合作在特殊的节期为教会安排额外的敬拜。
• 需要能够使用电脑办公，熟练使用Word与PPT等办公软件，可以容易的学习使用办公软件。
• 在教会的中英文联合敬拜的时候与英文堂合作。（每年有四次联合敬拜）
• 国语母语（或者非常流利），具备英语的口头及书面交流能力。
• 受过敬拜学的训练为佳。

Position: Worship Coordinator for Mandarin Ministry

We are a multi-cultural, multi congregational church located in Richmond. We have two services: Mandarin Service and English Service. Both service held at the same time on Sunday. Most of the members in mandarin service are from mainland China or Taiwan.

We are looking for a worship coordinator to plan, prepare, and lead our worship service. The candidate could work online, but must be present on Sunday and will be requested to attend meetings when in need. He/She must be a team player work with Mandarin Pastor as well as other volunteers or worship leaders. It is a part time Contract Job which will be reviewed annually.

We are a growing ministry. We would like to help the candidate to grow as a worship pastor which means the candidate will eventually have more responsibility and provide more leadership to the team.

The Candidate should be able to understand contemporary worship. Willing to learn and explore the meaning of church liturgies and integrate them into contemporary services. The candidate should be creative to plan worship services in order to create a positive worshipping experience for the congregation.

A successful candidate will accept the values of Baptist Tradition. He/She must be able to accept the faith Statement of Canada Baptist Western Canada and Broadmoor Baptist Church.

Responsibility and Requirements:

• Cooperate with the mandarin Pastor as well as other team players , plan and prepare for the Sunday Service.
• Capable to lead the worship team to lead the Sunday Service.
• Could play, at least, one instrument well. Could play Chord and sing at the same time.
• Recruit, train, and support the worship team. Build personal and cooperative relationship with them and help them grow.
• Plan and scheduling the worshipping team. Understand different needs of the church and individual.
• Understand the contemporary worship music style. Keep on studying and bring in new music or worship elements to our ministry. 
• Work together with the mandarin pastor to  plan special service during the high season of church calendar.
• Capable to use computer, especially word and PowerPoint. Could easily adapt to new software.
• We have 4 joint worship each year with our English congregation. The candidate should be able to work with the English worship team and pastors.
• Very fluent in Mandarin. Capable to communicate in English, both Verbally and literally.
• Theological training of worshipping is preferred but not required.
